Danish operator CEGO has been granted a license to operate in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission.
CEGO, which plays Casinas Spilnu and Lyckost, will now live in three jurisdictions, as it already operates in Denmark and Sweden.
The company said it will continue with its strategy of playing games with recreational players, adding “content can be adapted to a specific target market in each jurisdiction.”
The company continued: “With 80% of the content in-house, CEGO takes organic access to its offering, and with the least amount of confidence in a third party program, CEGO can provide as much fun playing experience as possible. “
Spilnu launched in Denmark in 2012, and with Lyckost launched in the Swedish market in 2019, both games generate the majority of their revenue in-house.
CEGO CEO Allan Auning-Hansen commented: “We are very excited to be able to develop a new market, especially one that competes significant on the Internet like Great Britain.
“At CEGO we have a proven concept and approach to the acquisition and retention of players. We look forward to this experience in the UK market and continue to take on the sport market to offer high-quality games.”
