Ainsworth Game Technology Limitation (AGT) has agreed to terms of employment for its new CEO, Harald Neumann, who officially takes over the role today.
The company has also appointed David Bollesen as its new Master Product Officer (CPO) effective on October 7, 2021.
Neumann will receive $600,000 a year, inclusive of allowances for housing, vehicle, and applicable superannuation statutes of Australia’s contributions. The term of this appointment is subject to annual review by the board, provided that the contract can be terminated by either the company itself or Neumann himself at any time for six months, or immediately by the company in case of serious misconduct.
Bollesen, meanwhile, has more than 25 years of experience in the digital entertainment industry, and Ainsworth leads the game development teams globally. Before joining AGT, he was VP of Game Studios in Australia’s major gaming company, and previously held many key roles in the USA.
“We expect to have David on the board and drive the next generation of Ainsworth products to market,” said Ainsworth chairman Danny Gladstone. “David has led and collaborated on numerous video games and slot machine products with proven success.”
Bollesen will be based in the Sydney group’s headquarters and will be responsible for building up existing and developing game making and shooting games for students to participate in every market.
“I firmly believe developers and operators should aggressively expose new features and technologies with smart concepts. I believe Ainsworth’s strength is brand,” Bollesen noted.
“With strategic strategies in place, it is advisable to build on strong social foundations and deliver new products to the gamer that are looking for their experience.”
